I joined Cole Murray in January 2022 as the Executive Manager. I have managed a variety of businesses in New Zealand and South Africa. My journey started in hospitality, then took me to cinema and entertainment, followed by the agriculture industry, before I came to Cole Murray. In January 2023 I was made the Chief Executive Officer to take more control and run the business operationally along with planning the future of Cole Murray. In May 2024 I achieved my Level 5 in Financial services specialising in Investments.
Making the move to Hawke’s Bay from Auckland four and a half years ago with my wife, Julia, and six-month-old son, Ari, to raise our family in my wife’s hometown has been a blessing. Since moving to Hawke’s Bay, we have built a new home (between lockdowns), added another member to our family, Isla, and navigated the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. This has been a test of our family’s character to which I know many people can relate.
Many of us have had to learn how to adapt, pivot and keep going to ensure food stays on our tables and businesses keep surviving. Joining the team at Cole Murray is a great honour. I feel very fortunate to be part of a Hawke’s Bay institution that has been advising clients over the last 18 years. I have a great team around me with many years’ experience and more joining to ensure we give the best advice to each and every one of our clients. We have trusted providers whom we work very closely with to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
I look forward to meeting many of you whether it’s at the Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run, at the office or out and about in our beautiful region.
